For legendary live gig venue – Troubadour. Musical legends like Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and James Taylor have taken to the stage at this fabled West Hollywood nightclub open since 1957. Elton John played his first-ever US show there too (check out the 2019 movie Rocketman). Rolling Stone mag calls it one of the best rock clubs in the world – and get a dose of history.

For food, fun, drinks, karaoke – Koreatown. Less than 20 minutes by metro from citizenM and you're in Koreatown, the place where you can eat, drink, dance, sing and take great pictures all in one visit. The restaurants especially get high marks online. Check if The Wiltern Theater is open – this art deco venue (built in 1931!) is great for live gigs.

For ultra-curated fashion – Dover Street Market. Walk 25 minutes or take the bus to one of the hippest haunts in the city. This famous multi-brand boutique has cool, curated collections presented in an industrial-chic setting. Rub shoulders with LA's fashionistas who flock here to recreate seasonal styles as featured on global runways.
